FOXROCK

Brief

The extensive renovation and redecoration of a large detached family home to meet the needs of an older couple wishing to accommodate grandchildren.

Solution

The ground floor was redesigned with the demolition of a large rear conservatory making way for a sunroom/living area. The kitchen and dining room were opened up to form a large open plan kitchen-diner leading into the sunroom. The kitchen was redesigned and fitted, as were all bathrooms. A first floor extension provided a new master bedroom, ensuite and dressing room. All external walls and the roof were re-insulated to meet current building standards and all walls were re-slabbed and plastered.

The re-decoration included paint/wallpapering, carpets, wood flooring, furniture, bathroom fittings, light fixtures, curtains and blinds, bed linens, cushions, throws and re-installation of artwork. The garden was landscaped, including both the rear patio and the front driveway.
